Introducing Dr. Daniel Yaron

Since I was a kid, I can remember how much I enjoyed fixing things and making them "like new" again. I always enjoyed working with my hands, and whether it was my bicycle or a drawing, I would work with great attention to detail until the little perfectionist in me was satisfied. Looking back I can see that, as a chiropractor, I continue to do the same thing that I enjoyed so much as a child - working with my hands to help people feel and live better.
My interest in the human body and healing lead me to study biology and psychology at the University of Western Ontario. I then went on to study chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Chiropractic has allowed me to combine my interests in the body, people, healing and the art of working with my hands to provide personal and conscientious care.
To this day I am fascinated by how things work, and with every year that passes, my appreciation for the miracle of the human body grows. Amazingly intricate and complex, we have hardly begun to understand how it works. And at the same time, the human body works with the beautiful intelligence and simple logic that governs all of nature.
Health, like happiness, comes from within. The basis of true health is the body’s own inborn ability to heal and to thrive. Too much physical, chemical or emotional stress and this ability breaks down. My satisfaction as a chiropractor comes from helping people to understand and live this fundamental principle of health.
Chiropractic care relies on the body’s own intelligence to heal. It does not treat symptoms - it helps to resolve them by removing the interference that affects the body’s natural state of well-being. As a chiropractor I feel I have the privilege of providing people with real healthcare.
I am not just a chiropractor, I benefit from getting chiropractic care too! It has been many years since I was first adjusted, but for many people chiropractic is a new and unfamiliar thing. I know that it is important to take the time to listen carefully, answer questions, and to gently introduce them to their first adjustment to make their experience both comfortable and enjoyable.
